VISITA A TURIM NOS 105 ANOS DO FALECIMENTO DA RAINHA D. MARIA PIA

 

R.I.P. - Dona Maria Pia de Saboia (16 de Outubro de 1847 - 5 de Julho de 1911)  Rainha Consorte Portuguesa, esposa do Rei D. Luís I de Portugal. Ela era  Grande Dama da Ordem de Santa Isabel. A Rainha D. Maria Pia saiu de Portugal com o resto da Família Real a bordo do iate real para o exílio em 1910. Voltou ao seu país natal, Itália, onde morreu em 5 de Julho de 1911, aos 63 anos. Permanece sepultada no Mausoléu Real na Basílica de Superga, em Turim.

R.I.P. - Dona Maria Pia of Savoy (16 October 1847 – 5 July 1911) Portuguese Queen consort, spouse of King Luís I of Portugal. She was the grand mistress of the Order of Saint Isabel. Queenn Maria Pia left Portugal with the rest of the royal family on board the royal yacht into exile in 1910. She returned to her native Italy, where she died on 5 July 1911, aged 63. Her remains are interred in the Royal Mausoleum in the Basilica of Superga,in Turin.
